Registration Fees

The Winter School is open to Master, Doctoral and Postdoctoral students from all academic fields. Bachelor (licentiate) students can enrol as well, but they have to motivate their candidacy.

We will allow a maximum of 30 students to enroll per course. We therefore advise that you apply as soon as possible.

You are free to either enroll for a specific module (and therefore to follow a 30-hour course on the subject taught by 3 teachers) or you may choose to enroll for 3 specific courses (10 hours per course), regardless the module they are classified in.

All students will receive an official certificate of course attendance that will include the suggested credits.

Registration fees are determined on a weekly basis, regardless the number of courses you choose.

Accommodation and travel costs are not included in the registration fee.

How to Apply and Register

Registration is continuously open from October 10th, until February 15th, 2013. Please be aware that after January 15th, 2013, the registration fee increases significantly.

Registration is CLOSED.

Notification

Within 2 weeks after your application, you will be notified by e-mail about your acceptance to the School.

Are you a Licentiate or Master Student of the Faculty of Science of the University of Lisbon?

All FCUL students can enroll at the discounted fee of 200 euro.

We will allow 10 Licentiate/Master students of the Faculty of Science of the University of Lisbon to enroll free of charge. Attending the school free of charge is conditional upon being willing to volunteer and help out with practicalities during the School’s execution. Such practicalities include helping out during registration, providing logistic information to participants, help with setting up the poster session, etc.
Preference will be given to students who are less financially able to pay for tuition. If you think you might be eligible, please attach a letter of motivation to your application.

Poster Session

Enrolled students are provided with the opportunity to present a poster.

Registration is closed.

Deadline to submit your poster abstract is February 15th, 2013.
